Those (dratted) UFOs

On January 31st I wrote of finally completing the "top" of a 30 block Star sampler quilt.
I can now add that it has been quilted and I'm into the home stretch regards finally completing it!
This weekend is the absolute deadline as I wish to have it on my bed next weekend......April17.

I could never be accused of working quickly, as the first blocks were done in 2002 as a swap on Wombats Place, with friends in Australia,Canada and the U.S.A.
Of course I didn't think I had enough blocks,did I,so like Topsy it grew..........(each block is 12 " square,finished,and they are set with a type of log cabin sashing.
Hopefully I'll hand hem the last couple of feet of binding tonight,and then.............

tackle another UFO of course!
