Maureen, thanks so much for your comment on my blog. I just looked at your views from home on your other blog and am overwhelmed by what I think it must be to live in such a place. Says me from the concrete!

Years ago I did a color workshop for quilters in Vermont. It was an interesting experience because of the way that they "see" which is somewhat different than the way a painter sees. Embroideries are especially interesting to me because they allow for a more subtle narrative, as is clear what you have going in your piece shown here.
