A blog containing my thoughts on every day occurrrences in my life, and my passion/obsession with Crazy quilting; traditional quilting and other forms of embroidery; My ideas for new projects and my completed and yet to be completed ones. I warn you: it won't all be needlework related!
With this Journal I used a clam shell patterned fabric;and ocean blue pages.I really must colour the ties to blend in,as this cream is too stark and detracts from the theme.

Maureen, please tell me about the journals. Do you write in them?, or is it another way to manipulate fabric, like the postcards?
I want to know.
Hi Maureen, I can't find your email addy so am leaving a post here. Did you get the cards I sent? Secondly, I was looking at your previous posts and noticed your comments about crinoline lady patterns being hard to come by. You admired one of my C/ladies a while ago on my blog, and asked about doing a copy. I said I would be happy to get one for you, but haven't heard from you about it. If you email me direct again, we can discuss what I have and what I can send you in the way of C/lady designs, if you still want some.
I love the colours in your journal. It's an interesting shape for a journal. As Jo asked. Do you write in your journals? I have never been able to keep a diary, I start but don't seem to use them as much as my blog. I wonder why that is?
The journal is beautiful. I love the sea colors and the interesting shape.
My favorite colors! I love black with blues.
What an amazing journal.

Could you tell me more about the 1000 Journals project on which you're working?? Sounds fascinating! Is there a post somewhere in your blog about it? I couldn't see one....
