Hopefully this will show as another example of a button and bead trail worked on a block of a WiP:"Rainbow Garden"
This series was commenced last year with a DYB (Do your Block) with members of the southerncrosscrazies

I finally got around to starting a project that I've been "thinking of" for a looong time!
I have a few old cards........one is circa 1921,that I'd like to scan and print to fabric for inclusion in a CQ block. Some months ago,a friend in Canada emailed me a pic of a glorious spring garden in Alaska.I'm happy to say that I successfully printed it to Homespun, and when I prepare some silk fabric I'll see what results there.
Today's effort was a "Happy New Year" or "Bonne Annee" sent by my Great grandmother to her daughter (my grandmother) in 1921 .
I realize that the scan itself needs extra tweaking to make it perfect,but.....the tattered edges add to its charm in my opinion
